Film Review: Rise of the Planet of the Apes

     Today I watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes which came out earlier this year. I tend to stay away from violent or aggressive looking films because I'm more of a glass half full kinda girl (or maybe I haven't got the back bone for serious stuff)!
     In any case, this movie was AMAzing. It blew my mind away and I wish I'd gone to see it in the cinema. While there were scenes with violence, cruelty and anger, the overall story is very touching and you will find yourself rooting for the main character 'Caesar' the whole way through. It's also really relatable because it deals with loneliness, desperation and triumphing over adversity. I give this movie a 5/5 hands down.
