Update =D giraffes, Rekorderlig and Edward Monkton

Wowza I haven't written a blogpost in centuries! I'd never gone more than a day without blogging but alas, that's what a 9-5 (actually an 8:50 to 5:30) job does to ya! I've missed blogging and it's good to be back :) I'm not quite sure what this post will be about so let's see where it ends up...

I definitely love being in the 'working world' because it gives me a sense of purpose and importance, ha! And as much as it sucks to wake up at the crack of dawn, I must admit that most days it's pretty gorgeous to walk in the morning air/light down to the station. The air is always that little bit fresher and the sky is still waking up as well, all frosty and multicoloured. This isn't a great shot but I'll insert one I took waiting for the train the other morning:

I must admit, I'm WAY excited that it's Friday tomorrow, and pay day as well! Unfortunately it won't be a hefty one as I've only done six working days so far, but still, some money is better than no money. I'm desperate to haul and go crazy! Here are a few items on my wish list:

 - MAC Azalea Blossom and Gilt By Association
 - Real Techniques Multipurpose brush, Stippling brush, and crease brush
 - Marc Jacobs Curacao fragrance
 - new shoes (for work and play!)
 - Estée Lauder BB cream
 - Dainty Doll blush in Money Talks
 - TIGI S-Factor Lusterizer
 - Caudalie elixir
 - Chanel Eclát Originel Serum

Yep, five months of unemployment really makes you want stuff! Ha

I <3 this cider. That is all. #random

You know what else is random? This card I sent my friend for her birthday! I lurrrrv Edward Monkton!

Lastly, the day before I started work, we decided to go to the zoo!

Here's a zebra:

...and a giraffe:

...a tiger:

...I'm not sure how this will be received, but a peeing zebra was witnessed:

...a unique only-in-London image, a lion's den with people playing football behind it (notice the blue and white figures!):

...a snoozing tiger:

...and finally, the highlight of the trip, a peeking giraffe! Xx
