Bea's of Bloomsbury Bblogger Meetup!

I just attended my first ever Bblogger meetup and am writing this post on the train home! Thank you to Rebecca from rebeccagoodyear.com and biteablebeauty.com for hosting such a lovely meetup complete with yummy bites, product reviews and oh so generous goody bags - not to mention the friendly, supportive and sweetest bbloggers I've met!

I asked Ellie from Maydoll.co.uk to be my plus one which she oh-so-graciously accepted!

Here are her faves of the month:

MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait

Ellie loved this so much because it's a gorgeous nude that isn't sticky at all. It lasts from her early morning application 'til around 11:30 am, even after drinking a few cups of tea! I haven't purchased a lipgloss in years but I think I just might have to give this one a go...

Burberry Eyehadow in Rosewood

I had to ask Ellie what she had on her lids, they were gleaming! !Link! This eyeshadow looks as if MAC's Woodwinked and Vex had a baby. So gorgeous!! It's a silvery taupey warm shade that is absolutely beautiful.

I also met the lovely Alexandra from Pretty Little Passport (pictured above).

Here are my faves of the month:

Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Black

This pencil is what I rely on to tightline and fill in my inner rim. I can rest assured knowing that it will not fade or smudge until I remove it, whenever that may be! Best thing? It's RRP is £6!!

Nars Sheer Lipstick in Mayflower

I bought this from the Spring 2011 limited edition collection and really hope Nars make it permanent! [Are you listening Nars? Ha!]. It's my perfect YLBB or Your Lips But Better shade that I can slick on without a mirror. It has a subtle clean scent and is super moisturising! Love this!

The meetup was sponsored by Nafnangx so a big thank you goes out to them! Jean-Luc introduced us to their awesome new blogger platform which allows you to manage your comments, blog's Facebook and blog's twitter all from the same place! How genius is that??

As for the awesome goody bag, here's what it contained:

An adorable Mr. Strong sticker!
Green & Black's Organic Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Butterscotch chocolate + recipe (scoffed the milk chocolate straight away :O).
Florascent's Jasmine fragrance sample - heavenly!
Primavera's Chamomile Borage Moisture Cream sample.
Beyond Organic Skincare's Firming Eye Cream sample pot (can't wait to try this)!
Beyond Organic's brochure - am very intrigued by the Organic Boob & Butt Pick Me Up Lady's Mantle and Chestnut serum!
Dr. Bronner's Magic Organic Lip Balm in peppermint.
Earthly Beauty's Nourishing Hand Cream sample and brochure.
Lavera's Organic Almond and Shea Butter Hand Cream (again, SO excited to try this) and brochure. I really want to give their makeup and hair products a go!
Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap in Hemp Almond (I've tried this in Rose and liked it. It's very gentle but still gives a decent cleanse).

Thank you so much to Rebecca and Jean-Luc (both pictured above) for organising this and hosting us! Red velvet cupcakes, beauty products and awesome company, who can complain?

Xx
