Fall Empties 2012

Here are my thoughts on some recent empties:

Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Conditioner

I LOVED this! Bought a backup as soon as I realized it was almost gone. This conditioner costs less than £3 and it leaves my hair silky smooth! Love it!

Maybelline Full 'N Soft mascara in Very Black

MAC Prep + Prime SPF 50 Day Protect

Click HERE for my review. Would I repurchase? YES, only in summer (or if I get a payrise and afford it all year round)!

Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Anti-Aging hand cream SPF25

This is a solid staple for me. If I am going to be in sunlight, this is my hand cream. I'm probably on my 6th one? Love it! Not too greasy, reasonable SPF and affordable.

Boots Soltan Moisturising Sun Care Spray SPF 50

I tried this out this summer and am chucking it even thought there's a little bit left. It was just way way way too greasy and sticky. It also had quite a strong sunscreen smell. I definitely will not be repurchasing this next summer.

Boots Soltan Moisturising Sun Care Cream SPF 50

This is the second tube that I finish but I feel that it has been my last. I withstood it for almost a year because I was too broke to shell out for a fancier now. After finding the MAC SPF 50 face cream (see above) and the Avene SPF 20 day cream (!LINK!) which I'm currently using, I doubt I will ever pick this up again. It worked well at the time and kept my oily/combination skin moisturised and protected without turning me into a greaseball under makeup. VERY affordable.

  1. Oh i really want to try that prep+prime spf product. I don't use sunscreen.. and ahem, I should but it's so much effort putting that on your face along with moisturizer, (sometimes) base and foundation. Might give it a go! x

    1. Omg u so should! You live so close to the Equator as well (no excuses)! Ha
I highly HIGHLY recommend it, but it's so damn expensive and runs out super fast!! And don't think of moisturiser and SPF as two different things necessarily, this one is quite moisturising. An even more moisturising one if you have dry/normal skin would be Avene's SPF 20 face cream xx
