Failed Sleek Haul

It's been a while since I splurged on makeup and we all want to make our money go far, so when I (very gleefully) found myself in the makeup aisles of Superdrug last Sunday, I made a beeline for the Sleek Makeup display. I've always wanted to try out Sleek's complexion products as it's an affordable line that does NOT test on animals. I grabbed two of the Luminaire concealer pens and an Eau La La lip liner - and I'm very annoyed to say that they were all major fails.

This haul is in honour of the first beauty splurge (and I mean splurge) that I have done in years - possibly ever! I cannot remember ever dishing out this much £££ for some luxurious babies that I shall love and cherish forever <3 <3 <3 I literally jumped with joy when the deliveryman dropped my most valuable delivery yet on my doorstep 24 hours ago!

I went to Boots yesterday to pick up a few essentials, and while it's not a particularly exciting haul, I am SO happy with what I got!

Today I found myself in Boots using up my £5 off No.7 vouchers. I recommend that you ALL go out and get these because they are both a bargain and super useful. MAC dupes anyone?

Haul feat. MAC Dish It Up rave + comparison

Alright guys, I know I know I'm getting a bit carried away with hauls (and I'll sure be feeling this when I run outta £££ in a couple of weeks) but what can I say! There's a reason this is mainly a beauty blog =) 'cuz I can't get enough of the stuff!

Before we get onto the highlight/main topic of this haul, here are a couple of other things I picked up yesterday...

Exciting News + Massive Haul!!

     If you've been reading my blog then you'll know that I had been doing work experience - until now. Today was my first day at an actual job and boy does it feel good! Since I'm going to be a 9-5 office girl, I had to make sure I looked like one so I went shopping!!
I ordered a few essential pieces of Asos, the first of which is a standard black pencil dress. At £30 this is a great staple, in fact, I'm wearing it tomorrow!

  I was wandering around town yesterday and ended up in Boots: haul time!!!

MAC NATURALLY HAUL!!!!

     I am over the moon and so excited to be writing this post!!! Why? Because ever since I saw MissGlamorazzi and Amarixe's haul video, I have been DYING to get my mitts on the Naturally collection by MAC. I went over to the MAC counter a few weeks back asking when it was coming to the UK and they said the 1st of Feb. I was SO tempted to buy them online for fear they would sell out but thank the Lord i didn't, because I was set on getting Sweet Sunrise and A Perfect Day lipsticks. When I tried them on in the shop yesterday they made me look like the walking dead. I was also gonna get the Daylight and Cloudy Afternoon shadows, but they turned out too frosty for my liking. And lastly, when I swatched the Blond MSF it was WAY too frosty for my liking (and skin tone). Swatch first, ladies!!

     Soooo as you can tell from the title, this is my first purchase EVER from a blog sale! Thank you Charli Bruce for these items, they have found a loving new home! ha
