This is a product I have been after for AGES and finally justified purchasing it in the 3 for 2 Boots skincare deal. (I'm also after the Estée Lauder BB cream but that will need some saving up for)! I am now the proud owner of a Garnier BB cream (£9.99) and I love it!

My Current Morning Makeup Routine

     I absolutely love reading this sort of blogpost so it's high time I wrote my own! I first spotted it on Gemma's blog and was so addicted that I went back and read all her Makeup Mixup posts! Since then I've started doing the same: every week I lay out a few products that I pretty much don't stray from all week long. Not only does this make sure that no product is left ignored. It also makes my makeup more creative and never dull or repetitive (not to mention helps out with Project Pan ;D). Here are this week's picks:

What's in my (work) Bag?

     So I LOVE "what's in my bag" features whether it be a blogpost or a magazine article (US Marie Claire usually has them on the very last page of the mag n i lurrrrrve 'em) so here's my everyday work bag minus the face powder/blush or lip colour that I'd chuck in depending on my look that day. These are the permanent items. 

     Firstly (clockwise from top left) is reading material. I'm currently still reading SuperFreakonomics because since I've been off work for Christmas and the new year, I haven't gotten much reading done! I usually read on the train and/or tube. Next is the actual bag.

2011 Beauty Essentials

     Here's my 2011 beauty products roundup. These items made my year in beauty without a shadow of a doubt. Let's start with Neutrogena's Deep Clean cream cleanser. This has been my go to cleanser for the past eight years. I kid you not. Through teenage skin and now my twenties, it has seen me through. This is only available in the States nowadays so I always tell one of my mates who's going there to pick me up a couple of 'em. They retail at around $3 and last for ages as well.

Boxing Day Purple Eye Makeup

     Here's my eye look from last night! I knew I wanted to do a bright purple look since my dress was quite a dull brown colour and am very happy with what I ended up doing! Btw all Urban Decay shadows are from the NYC palette that came out a couple of years ago I believe.
